In June 2016, the “Swami Ranganathananda Educational and Welfare Society” was registered and formed in Kolkata. The society procured around 1 acres of land in Barasat, North 24 parganas. This plot of land is near the Barasat University. It is around 10 kms from Kolkata airport, and just 2 kms from Ramakrishna Math, Barasat. In this plot of land, Swami Suvirananda Ji, General Secretary of Ramakrishna Math and Mission laid down the foundation stone of the school building in presence of lots imminent monks of Ramakrishna order and devotees on June, 2017.
